just finished washing the dog, and he's wandering around permeating the house with the delightful scent of wet dog. yick. anyhow, somehow brilliantly i don't have anything else to do at all today. *beam* rare indeed. well, except for blasting my primers. *grumble* which i shall get around to eventually. no, really.

so, i guess it's back to the sims for the time being then. *grin*

i'm confused. very very confused. talk about blowing hot and cold. *grumble*

seems i'm stuck in the debating thing though, but i'm only turning up on the last day of the camp, so won't actually be debating at all. not sure if that's such a good thing, i'm not particularly good at bullshitting, and if i have to participate in the thing in january, i guess i need all the practice i can get.

need to get my primers blasted though, for my 3rd year project, and it has to be tomorrow, since we have to order them on monday, so hopefully we can begin lab work in a week.. everyone else is so busy! doing electroporation, isolating genes, grinding up seahorse brains etc, and sarah and i haven't started anything! it's seriously freaking me out. then again, since it's PCR, it's apparently supposed to be simple, lab work wise anyway, and according to Dr Zaman we should be able to finish by end December. I assume that's if we're in school every day. and i still haven't really read or understood any of our huge stack of scientific publications. *sigh* i need to concentrate, and i'm not. sarah!! how!? *panics*

hey again, sorry i haven't updated in a while, haven't really felt inclined to put down some of the stuff that's been happening. anyhow, the cGMP paper was alrite i guess, won't do particularly well for it, but it could've been worse. the drug discovery paper was the absolute easiest paper by a long stretch, i seriously wonder what came over dr koh. he said that it still wasn't done particularly well though.

chalets, camps, bbqs blah blah blah. not much to say to be honest. usual beginning of holiday stuff, not worth putting down. well, that may be doing some of them a disservice. the LSCT camp was pretty cool, had more fun than i usually do at these things. still think i had a case of temporary insanity to sign up though. *shrugs* ah well, is over.

back to school to start on my 3rd year project tomorrow finally, guess i'll spend friday at the library as well, or lazing ard at home. next week's going to be shite, bioinformatics from mon-fri, and the debate camp (which i'm trying like heck to get out of) from fri-sun. we'll have to see if dr goh's willing to be merciful and let me off the debating thing. *sigh*
