bugger. wasn't able to get on that flight we were waitlisted for.. told me that the waitlisting was cancelled because there was no hope of getting on the flight. *sigh* so that means i'm on the monday flight, getting in tuesday about midnight. i'm sorry Sarah! trying to get back as soon as i can!

anyhow, since we were already in brisbane, went and checked out all my old shopping places, queen st mall and stones corner so far. got quite a good haul too. *grin* lots of lace this season for some reason, especially on the bottom of denim skirts. i've resisted so far, white lace just isn't me. black lace on the other hand... got this gorgeous top which is white and innocently t-shirtish in the front, but the back is complete black lace. was dirt cheap, so i just bought it, and decided to worry abt whether i'd have the bottle to wear it, later. *grin* denim skirts galore here too, keep trying to remind myself i have enough of those already. oh, and does anyone love me enough to give me a christmas present to the tune of AUD$89.95? please? wandered into Witchery today, big mistake. why oh why did i pick up that blasted top anyway? *grumble* $89.95 on one item does not an impressed mother make. particularly if the mother in question is being asked to pay for it. *sigh*

and, has anyone used biolage shampoo before? i'm thinking about getting the set of shampoo/conditioner as well as the conditioning balm, so if anyone's used it before, let me know how good it was? thanks. :)

i'm short. *grumble* so short that i'm having to type with my keyboard in my lap cos i can't quite reach the table. :p ah well, 5 ft 3 isn't -that- bad i guess.

had a nice 12 hour long drive down from airlie yesterday, reached brisbane at midnight and collapsed on a sleeping bag on the floor that's serving as my mattress for the next few days. ah well, i've slept in worse circumstances. it's pretty good to be back in brisbane, though i can't say i missed it excessively. it's a nice enough city i suppose. one of the reasons i'm not that keen on UQ is that well, i'm quite sick of brisbane i guess. would like to check out sydney or melbourne if i'm coming here semi-permanently. though that, as much as anything in my life nowadays, is very much up in the air. feel like going back to airlie beach next year after i graduate for a proper holiday. actually stay at the beach maybe, in one of the many backpacker accommodations. not because i'm becoming more fastidious, or i'm looking to spend more money, but well, i can't drive. and i don't think i'll be learning to any time soon, as well as the fact that even if i could drive, i'm not likely to want to attempt to go up our driveway, that has defeated many a car that lacked 4WD. we'll see, airlie's a lovely, relaxing place for a holiday, and if i could come up with the money to visit some of the islands, so much the better.

i'm rambling. cos i don't really have anything to say, but i just felt like updating, primarily because i'm pretty bored, and i've been reading too many mills and boon love stories to stomach another one at the moment. more to the point, i've run out of em. *sniff* shall go and pick up more soppy, sappy, improbable romances tomorrow methinks. :p
