friday five:

1. What was your most memorable moment from the last week?

a suspicious overabundance of attention from a certain someone.

2. What one person touched your life this week?

bragor. by giving me some very good advice, and remaining one of the sweetest guys I know.

3. How have you helped someone this week?

you mean... *gasp* altruism?

4. What one thing do you need to get done by this time next week?

OUR FINAL YEAR PROJECT SECOND DRAFT! *panics quietly*

5. What one thing will you do over the next seven days to make your world a better place?

my world? try and actually work on the damn project. *sigh* w/o whining! *crosses fingers*

met him at the busstop just now. (yes, you haven't heard of him, for like, 2 weeks! *laugh* aren't you proud of my self restraint?) offered to send me home. was okay really. he'd been in school studying. *blink* chap who got 5 warning letters when he only takes 6 subjects mind you. but well, yea, it was alrite. :) quite comfortable, and no immediate charge of chemistry. even a small friendly hug at the end. heh. friends will be fine. :)

currently playing : new year's project - further seems forever

my eyelids are swollen again. these late night crying jags have to stop. they're not helping anyone, least of all myself.

disease on one side of the world, destruction on the other.

death everywhere.

ye gads, i'm tired. hrm. i wonder how many of my entries to date have started along similar lines. quite a fair number i'd wager. just got back from class, veeeeeery tired, because i was in school from 8am(!) to 6.30pm again. *sigh* PCR, PCR, how i do loathe thee. someone shoulda smothered that kary person as a baby. gah. also got to talk to the next batch of oiap people. heh. got me started talking. bad idea. lol. it's like pringles. :p once i start, i can't stop. ah well. hope they managed to pick a few impt things out of the rest of the crap i was spewing.

anyway, also, to add to my list of grievances, we got our 1st draft of the project report back from our supervisor. ARGH. we have so much rewriting to do it's ridiculous honestly. and! there are a lot of *cough* things we are quite... unhappy with in relation to this matter, but i shan't elaborate. i have heard rumours of people like jona having some of these addresses. *peers about suspiciously* and if it gets back to the... person involved, i'm screwed. lol. not that we aren't dead enough already eh sarah? but yea, we have to pass it up by monday, which means heading to the NUS medical library again to grab the rest of the journals that we need to go through to pad out our introduction. by another 2000 words or so. *guts self with dull breadknife* deaddeaddead.

shan't go on, am depressing myself. heh. hope y'all are doing better.

as heard on channelnewsasia : "And all Singaporeans agree that the people in Iraq deserve humanitarian aid." Oh, no shite? I suppose it's oh-so-realistic that we're going to say, "No, I don't think they deserve humanitarian aid, they should all die. diediedie. and the money should go to my cpf account." What irritated me about that wasn't the completely duh (forgive the lack of a decent vocabulary there) preposition, but more that it was preceded by, "Singaporeans, normally thought to be apathetic.." and that shows we aren't apathetic? because we support the provision of humanitarian aid to displaced Iraqis? *silently rolls her eyes towards the heavens* we're not given a chance not to be apathetic anyway. remember? protests are illegal. you can get arrested for them. sure a good way to promote activism if you ask me.

currently playing : water voices (some meditation track. cos i need to cool down.)
