Late, as usual, this weeks friday five:

1. What time do you wake up on weekday mornings?

6.15am.

2. Do you sleep in on the weekends? How late?

i try, but usually end up waking up latest by 8.30. today i actually woke up at 3.45am, which is some kind of new record.

3. Aside from waking up, what is the first thing you do in the morning?

press play on my hifi.

4. How long does it take to get ready for your day?

if you count from when i wake to when i leave.. 1 hr 45 min. however, that includes things like the gym and walking the dog. so. actual getting ready, inc hair and makeup? 45 minutes prolly. like lindsay, i have to blowdry my hair. takes for freaking ever.

5. When possible, what is your favorite place to go for breakfast?

heh. not very glam, but prolly BK. I like the croissan'wiches. haha. not to mention i can't really afford anywhere else.

mum's coming back in... *wibble* a few hours. have been up since seven washing, mopping, sweeping, making beds, scrubbing floors, cleaning toilets, you name it. my nails are a national disaster area. think i need some gloves, i wonder if there are any left in my labcoat pockets. heh.

*panic* she just called me from the airport! *panics more* die, die, die! okay, back later, if i survive the initial confrontation, have to go buy flowers for the dinner table and breakfast. hey, i put a ferrero rocher on her pillow on the newly made bed. (first time it's been made in 3 weeks, but nvm that) Every little bit counts. haha. must guilt her into not nagging me for the few hours before i get out of the house and go to meet Nora. *angelic smile*

oh yes. tomorrow is the day after my 'last day'. today was my official last day. alas, it was not to be. excuse me while i begin to daydream about what it might have been like if tomorrow i actually, *gasp* didn't have work.

is it just me, or does anyone else find that rice advert, the one that's on tvmobile all the time, kinda.. wrong?

i mean, you have 3 generations of women right, the grandma, the mother and the little kid, (the maiden, mother and crone if you want), and they're all looking suspiciously orgasmic because of.. rice. inhaling the aroma of boiled grain. erm. it's like, the little kid looks at the mother, who tastes (does she actually taste? no matter) the rice, and does an impression of the woman in the herbal essences shampoo ad, then decides, hey, that looks like fun, lemme try it myself. then she does, and looks at the grandma, who apparently psychically tells her, who did you think taught your mother that? and goes on to join in the family, g-rated fun. sorta. and then, then! the little girl winks at her! as if to say, well actually, i've been doing this since i was abt 2 months old, ya know? but it's nice to know i would've been initiated into this ceremony eventually.

jeez.

okay. so maybe it's just me. being forced into close proximity with tvmobile for hours on end everyday would put anyone on edge okay? they don't call it a captive audience for nothing.

well, got the good/bad news today, they've decided to extend my contract for a further two weeks. which is good, cos of the money, but gods i don't think i can take this working shtick much longer. *grin* but, i shall suffer on, for the sake of my digital camera. lol. which i hope i do get eventually.

anyhow, just got a very uncivil email from my dearest mother, i swear she forgets any and all manners the moment she gets online. or maybe it's just to me. hmph. and she sometimes leaves the caps lock on and doesn't even notice. jeez. i am not happy with her at all. and she's coming back on friday. *groan* god save me. it's going to be very difficult to adjust to having her around again. *mutter* even when she's not here i'm spending all my little spare time running errands for her. bloody hell.

went to watch the 'dim sum dolly's in steaming' at the jubilee hall at raffles hotel yesterday, it was -hilarious-, and is highly, highly recommended. tickets available from sistic, children. *grin* go get em!

anyway. i don't know if her primary 1 students are going to descend upon me like the locusts of yore, so i'd better go get ready just in case. *shudder* kids. hate kids. ick!
