finally got my shopping fix. *heaves deep sigh of relief* though technically i didn't actually buy much, just a gorgeous butterfly necklace. black, needless to say. but think i'm going back to topshop to get that pink (yes, i know, PINK! *shudder*) top i was wavering over. shannie and nora, both bloody pink freaks, are getting to me, methinks. peiyi, come back, i need your adviiiiiiiice! *sniff*

met up with a number of people today. youming (or wayne, whichever) and yongjia, (who's not such a pain in person darling, you're almost forgiven for having dated him :p) from new town sec, isabella from primary school, darren (nick's friend, with somewhat less piercings than i remember him having) and various other minor characters in my life whom i shan't detail. lol. how pompous. but i'm too incoherent to go back and rephrase that, so let's quickly move on to,

this weeks friday five:
1. Name five things in your refrigerator.

skim milk, the dog's chicken, a packet of char siew rice, cranberry and grape juice, cream cheese.

2. Name five things in your freezer.

god, i don't know! some bottles of juice my mum's squeezed and frozen prolly, and erm, some form of meat, and like.. ice and stuff. no icecream though, that one i know. :p

3. Name five things under your kitchen sink.

oh gods. err. i dunno, i'm not domesticated, dammit! haha. lemme go check. okay, fabric softener, a few old toothbrushes, a can of WD40 (so THAT's where that went), some scrubbing brushes and various plumbing devices.

4. Name five things around your computer.

a little calculator, my speakers, an 1982 edition of "Questions and Answers in the Queensland Traffic Code Test" (god, it's older than i am), a lot of my mum's notes on stocks and shares, and stationery.

5. Name five things in your medicine cabinet.

we don't have one. in our medicine drawer however, lol, nail polish remover, rolls of bandages, plasters, burnol and bonjela.

okay, screw the previous post, i, am, fucking, tired. to put this into perspective, i worked 8.30am to 5.30pm at a biotech company, today we were doing ELISA assays at different concentrations, not that it matters very much. then i went down to the pub, on a bus full of fucking noisy, irritating RJC kids, who annoyed the fuck outta me, and completely filled the entire bus. stupid.. fucktards. *wink daryl* then i worked, without dinner, from 7pm to 3am. in a pub, on orchard road, on a friday night. *collapses*

god, (or something else), bless all the people that tipped me tonight, and the guy that bought me a drink, i hope you and your descendants prosper forever more. heh.

my feet fucking hurt. need to go buy new (comfy) shoes tomorrow. not sure if i'll have time though, since i'm quite sure i'm going to sleep rather late. :p on a lighter note though, i got an email from UNSW inviting me to apply for the golden jubilee scholarship, which was quite nice of them. informed them that i'm waiting for my SAT results to come out before applying. (next saturday! meep.) and kenji gave me a lovely testimonial on friendster that really brightened up my day. thanks love, you're a dear. :)

work was good. :p two very hot american guys, and i mean very hot. friendly too. *innocent*

feeling like i'm falling behind with a lot of things online, replying to emails, replying to messages, losing touch with a lot of people as well, because of my working hours. i'm not actually feeling terribly tired or anything, (except for my feet), but i have very little time to myself, and that's what's beginning to bother me.

decided that dream was a fluke. he's out of my life, and he's staying out.

I dreamt of someone last night whom i haven't thought of for a while. The effect's hanging around, hopefully i'll shake it off soon. Disturbing. Particularly in the context of the dream.

been reading harry/draco goodness. i don't know why i've linked it, since noone i know that reads my blog, in fact, noone i know, appreciates the rightness of this pairing, but i've linked it anyway. and! i found out, after reading through all 11 chapters til my eyes hurt, that it's an unfinished fic. i thought it was finished! cos it hasn't been updated in almost a year. which pains me, deeply. *sniff* i was screaming just now. it was not pretty. i should check these things before i start getting engrossed in them. i'm sure she appreciates my pain. (speaking of which, i left this alone for months! hoping to be able to read a few chapters at a shot, but there was but one. *sniff* saraaaaaaaaah, how? *whine*

so, to alleviate my pain, i'm now reading fluffy, PWP, Harry/Draco slash goodness. :)

(note: all links besides the ones to sarah are only to be followed by persons over the age of 18/21, depending on the laws in your particular state/country. *grin* also, homophobes should not follow them, and should also ponder getting a life, and preferably getting the fuck off my page. *smiles. sweetly.*)

i just realised that the last 6 posts, have been about work. 3 different jobs, to be sure, but still! so, i'm trying to write one that doesn't involve work, but since i don't really have time to actually do anything besides work, it's a bit difficult. lol. ooh, lots of self pity. :p

i need to buy so much stuff. so much stuff, and yes, that is a legitimate use of the word 'need'. (as opposed to normally, when it erm.. isn't. heh.) but i've no time to shop! which is, to be honest, unimaginable. no time, no energy. and i start work tomorrow, though since the new schedule at the bar came out today, i found out that at least i'm not working tomorrow night, so i can come home and sleep! also, due to the new schedule for this week, i have a date on saturday. *grin* not that it's a terribly good prospect, but hey, as my friends keep telling me, i'm bloody picky, so the fact that i've agreed already means quite a fair bit. *sparkle* we'll see how it goes. and since i've saturday off, will also be heading down to far east to see emmanuel et al perform. ahh, the weekend, it seems so far away. *sigh*
