they let me off work early today! yay! thank god, because i'm so bloody tired right now i can't imagine working til 3am today. i'm so tired i actually feel kinda sick, which is mildly worrying. it'll pass by morning, no doubt.

anyhow. met damon this afternoon for lunch on the spur of the moment, was lovely to see him again after.. well, quite a while. made him go shopping with me in the makeup section of Tang's. *innocent* bought myself a clinique lip gloss in angel pink. haha. i knew the name was a good omen. ;) matches my stila angel powdercase! *bounce* also took another neoprint thingy with him, which i shall scan another day. it's funny. :p he keeps insisting i look the same in all of them, when it's obvious he's the one that hasn't changed at -all-. *grin*

no cute guys at work today, more's the pity, but there was this group of irish guys who were rather fun to serve, one kept singing bits of leaving on a jet plane to me, (So kiss me and smile for me etc..), cos they're leaving for melbourne tomorrow. lol. and telling me to bugger work tomorrow, i should have a drink with them etc etc. very amusing. first part during the rugby was bloody busy though, especially considering i wasn't supposed to start work til an hour later. *grumble* still, i guess getting off early was worth it. :)

must rest up tomorrow, and read up on the courses we're doing next week, cos Qiumei's not going to be at the same schools i am, so i need to know the experiments inside out and whatever. sigh. loooong week ahead.. long month actually.

yesterday was another 8am to 4am day, but i managed to get through it pretty well, not really feeling tired til abt 1.30am when we were waiting for the last 2 tables to bugger off so we could get on with closing. heh. was doing upstairs with sarah (and darling, who's haunting who now? haha.), and it was really quiet til abt 10+, was thinking i might be able to get off at 11! but no such luck, cos everyone started shifting upstairs for some reason or other, and we were run off our feet for a period of time, running downstairs to get the drinks, then running up again, talk abt aerobic exercise! lol.

i've been very lucky lately, at least one cute guy to talk to every night i've been working this week! heh. can't remember who it was on monday, honestly, but there was jason on friday, aussie bloke on his way to london, and scott yesterday, who's irish methinks. *sparkle* so fun. haha. perks of the job and all that.

and i got my pay! from both places! *wide grin* not that i can, yannoe, actually do anything with it, but it's nice to have. :p treating myself to a professional leg wax tomorrow, cos i'm too damn tired to go messing around with hot wax this morning. gonna just rot til i have to go to work. yay!
